RobertsRules.org was founded in 2000 as a resource to disseminate information on Robert's Rules of Order,
and has helped countless people use that valuable tool for fair and orderly meetings. After the overthrow of Saddam Hussein
in 2003, we arranged a
translation of a chart of motions into Arabic for use by US State Department-affiliated NGOs to train local governments
in democratic practices, and later connected the Iraqi Parliament to a translation of the full
text then being completed at the American University of Beirut.
RobertsRules.org has expanded to provide group and meeting management services. Services include
meeting schedules and announcements, secure registration of members,
an editable online agenda,
and a timer that changes color to warn a speaker that time is expiring.
More tools are on the way to help people use Robert's Rules to facilitate meetings.
